It’s Monday and I know we’re all still warming up to this whole idea of a work week, so I’m going to dish it to you straight — I’m here to talk intimates. Not the lacy variety necessarily (though those are great too) but the soft-as-can-be, hardly-trying-but-still-sexy variety.
I’ve mentioned before that I’m crazy about podcasts and listen to them all of the time while I’m driving and running. Lately, every other podcast has been advertising MeUndies, a new company that produces premium, extra-soft basics. At first I’ll admit that I wasn’t super interested because, well, I have a million pairs of underwear. They’re just not high on my shopping priority list at the moment. (Yes– I totally have one of those. ;))
But then I was walking through Venice Beach last week, and there it was — a MeUndies popup shop! I’m loving this popup shop trend, aren’t you?! It’s a great chance to try out something new from companies that might not be interested in a longer lease.
The saleslady was conversational and cute without being pushy, and we gabbed about patterns and sizing while I picked a few out. (She mentioned that they tend to run small).
I went with the boyshorts, which for me is totally weird. I don’t own any boyshorts. But she sold me when she started talking about wearing them around the house with a tank, and how effortless and comfy it would be while still being totally adorable.
And I’m here to tell you — she’s right. I’ve been living in them. They’re great for sleeping in, lounging in, even wearing under boyfriend jeans or sweats. They also have something a bit skimpier, if that’s what you’re going for. ;)
Now I have my eye on their french terry sweatpants once they come back in stock. If they can make undies that comfy, I’d bet that their sweats are pretty fantastic too.
Have you tried MeUndies? Are you a boyshorts gal?
