Are you a morning person? I hardly ever find it easy to crawl out of bed as the sun is rising, but when I do, I feel fresh and accomplished.
Lately, I’ve noticed that those precious morning hours are actually some of my most focused and productive. So I’m trying something new.
I wake up, make my bed, and head to the kitchen, where I’ll grab some organic, fiber-full cereal (though I’ll admit, I have Eggos stashed in the fridge for emergencies). Recently, I’ve been making myself cappuccinos with this and this. This is a game changer. They’re so delicious and satisfying and they just make my whole morning a bit brighter.
Then, instead of throwing on an outfit and heading out the door, I take a look at my day and come up with a list of things I’d like to accomplish. And I take care of a few! Sometimes I’ll schedule an appointment or write a thank you note, or sometimes I’ll sit down and write to all of you!
It feels great to take care of a few things before the day gets going.
