After a few precious days spent waterskiing and reading at our friends’ cabin, we’ve arrived back in Seattle. This morning my boyfriend and I ventured out to the UW Arboretum, which I hadn’t visited in years.
I couldn’t help but look up through the tree canopy as we walked. I’ll never fall out of love with this beautiful part of the country.
Of course, a floral dress seemed appropriate for our botanical stroll.
Though the entire garden is incredible, my favorite part was the Japanese Garden, which was especially serene and beautiful. At the entrance gate, they provided pamphlets to give you a bit of information about the garden and sculptures.
Good thing I had such a knowledgable tour guide. ;)
We agreed that the arboretum would be the perfect spot for a picnic. If you get a chance when you’re in Seattle, I’d highly recommend a visit! Bring a baguette and some brie and you’re set. :)
