I spotted a sweet, perfectly-my-style shift dress, in my favorite color to wear (bright red). I selected my size, tried it on, and BAM. It fit. Like a glove! Like it was made for me. Of course, then I checked the price tag, and quickly talked myself down. But I’m not going to lie– I have thought about that dress several times since that serendipitous moment. I mean that kind of luck just doesn’t happen very often. It was true fashion love.
Last week I was back at the same mall, and I thought of that dress. I googled it and found that they had put it on clearance (!) and there was only one size left– mine! At this point I’m like, it’s a sign.
I’ve been tracking the package religiously ever since.
Here’s where Hukkster steps in.
The premise is simple– Hukkster alerts you when your favorite bookmarked items go on sale. You add a little button to the top of your browser (mine is right next to my Amazon Wishlist button) and click it when you find something you love, but can’t justify paying the full price. You select your size, and color preference, and Hukkster keeps you in the know! I have yet to use it, but after my recent J. Crew luck, I have a feeling this may be a new shopping staple.
As someone who respects when something is just fashionably meant to be, I was thrilled to come across this new app. Have you tried it?
